Why regrets.io?

I overheard Shaan Puri talk about how he wanted a website to just check out what people's biggest regrets were.

So I thought, hmm that's a cool idea. Plus it could be better than reddit at looking through pros and cons about several things, like for example which tablet to buy. I know I've been on several reddit rabbit holes trying to find the best e ink tablet to buy, several repeated questions and answers and days of search.

So I decided then to just build an app that is like reddit but it doesn't allow duplicates, so you will see that searching for 'going to college' will show you the same results as searching 'going to university'. That's by design. I want only one page for the same concept so it's easier to find pros and cons about it.

I hope you have as much fun using regrets as I've had building it.
